Deterministic Execution (DE) and the prefrontal cortex

  • If we understand that:
    * limbic system (especially emotions) are anti-correlated with analytical thinking
    * variation of voice-tone, speed and intonation of speech and also face and hand gesturing activates people limbic system.
    * the use of poly-semantic / multiple-meanings / qualitative words and sentences activate peoples limbic system

Then it's easy to understand why talking with little variation in voice-tone, speed and intonation of speech and also little use of face and hand gesturing makes it easier for people to apply analytical thinking. By using words and sentences in a unambigous way this will also make it easier for people to use analytical thinking when understanding what is being expressed.

People with Deterministic Execution (*DE) will effortlessly activate their prefrontal cortex and with it their analytical thinking during talking and writing. They will also deactive their limbic system (especially emotions) to make it easier for them to focus on the analytic perspective of what they are expressing.

One stereotype for logic people / robots are 'Data' from 'Star Trek' which has these characteristics in his role. Another is MacGyver who plays a character which uses analytical thinking to solve problems.

People who have Deterministic Execution (DE) will often be identified as having Extraverted-Thinking Te in MBTI/Kiersey.
