The Importance of Personality Theory in the 21th Century.

  Learning about personality theory can help us create a society, an education system, and workplaces that mirror the needs and possibilities of the people working there, rather than trying to suppress it. We should embrace the differences that we have been born with, the innate preferences for particular mental states, the particular ways which we have developed to relate to our mental states. And the first goal should be self-respect - respect towards your self and an appreciation of your differences. The fact that we are different suggests the fascinating possibility of our differences.
