The entire Neojungian model is built upon the cognitive Dual-Process Theory,
that in one state (Execution-task) some parts of the brain will be activated,
and in the other state (Processing-task) other parts of the brain will be activated.
This is a summary document about cognitive Dual-Process theories and their empirical evidence.
Remember that there are many ways to categorize these two processes.
