We have demonstrated the presence of rich temporal dynamics in brain function [...] suggesting that the purview of studies of human brain function can usefully be widened to encompass the study of temporal variability within individuals."

      This confirms my experience, subjective experience is slightly changing over time which would mean than there should be variations in brain-image data from the same individual doing the same task over time.
